ADITUM PEOPLE COMPACT and/or PASS people counter device (in a slightly different formula) is able to adjust the flow of people, placing the devices above the on the ascent and descent doors of the transport (eg.: bus, subway, train, etc.) to prevent an exceeding presence permit of people on board and to remove the responsibility for the control staff.
The various devices connected to each other, no centralized server needed, are able to detect the number of passengers getting on and out the vehicle: the passengers will be counted at the get out by blocking the doors once the maximum number allowed is reached, and when someone gets out, it will be reduced from the maximum number permit and will be allowed to get on again. The access can be bidirectional, therefore, the device can simultaneously count both those who get on and those who get out.
The system can be connected to external devices such as traffic lights, LCD panels/ monitors to inform the user about the real situation of the transport, showing the maximum number of people permit, the number reached and people allowed.
